Victorian apartment renovation in Belsize Park

The brief

This tired flat was crying out to be updated and to have its beautiful Victorian features restored. As with many smaller homes, it needed smart, careful planning to fit everything in.

What we did

• Restored the original Victorian features, including the large bay windows
• Designed a compact kitchen with shaker cabinets, brass handles, glazed brick tiles and heated floors
• Built custom wardrobes in the bedroom with a desk and shelving for working from home
• Designed a well-planned shower room with navy vanity, brass fittings and patterned floor tiles
• Planned the living room around the views from the restored bay windows
• Project managed the renovation through to completion

The result

A compact home that feels generous: warm floors underfoot, storage everywhere and a living room to relax in and enjoy the views.
